The Wheel Turns

The wheel of the year keeps turning.

Every year, spring arrives.

Not because we force it.

Not because we earn it.

Not because we're ready.

It simply comes.

A few weeks ago, the trees were bare.

The mornings were colder.

The world felt quieter.

Then, almost without noticing, something began to change.

Leaves returned.

Flowers appeared.

The air softened.

Life started moving again.

I've always loved paying attention to the seasons because they remind me that change rarely happens all at once.

Nature doesn't leap from winter to spring overnight.

It unfolds.

Looking back, I often find that my own life works the same way.

There are seasons of activity.

And seasons of rest.

Seasons of growth.

And seasons of waiting.

The arrival of spring doesn't make winter wrong.

It simply means the season has changed.

Every year, the Spring Equinox invites me to pause and look behind me before looking ahead.

What's blooming?

What's finished?

What's ready for more light?

The wheel turns.

And somehow, we turn with it.
